Cancellation Policy
RedDirt Hire Shop – Hire Policy 1. Rental Period: The rental period begins when the equipment is collected and ends when it is returned to RedDirt Hire Shop. Late returns may incur additional charges. 2. Identification & Payment: A valid photo ID and full payment are required at the time of hire. A security deposit may be required for certain items. 3. Equipment Condition: All equipment is inspected and tested before hire to ensure it is in good working condition. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was hired, excluding normal wear and tear. 4. Usage: Hired equipment must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the operating instructions provided. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the equipment is operated safely and by trained personnel where applicable. 5. Damage & Loss: The hirer is liable for any damage to or loss of equipment during the hire period. Repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the security deposit or charged directly. 6. Cleaning Fee: Equipment must be returned clean and free of debris. A cleaning fee may apply if additional cleaning is required. 7. Towing Requirements (if applicable): The hirer is responsible for ensuring their vehicle meets the required towing capacity for trailers or towable equipment. Equipment must be secured properly during transport. 8. Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the hire start time may incur a cancellation fee. 9. Safety Requirements: The hirer is responsible for using all required safety gear while operating the equipment. RedDirt Hire Shop can provide guidance on necessary safety measures. 10. Liability: RedDirt Hire Shop is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the use of hired equipment. By hiring from RedDirt Hire Shop, you agree to abide by this policy and accept full responsibility for the hired equipment during the rental period.
