SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

We’re committed to getting your gear delivered safely, wherever you are in Australia. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship.

Dispatch Timeframes

  • Standard Orders: Dispatched within 3–5 business days, subject to stock availability.

  • Trailer Orders: Shipping timelines vary depending on build specs and will be confirmed prior to order confirmation.

 

Shipping Destinations

  • We deliver Australia-wide to metro, regional, and most remote locations.

  • Remote or hard-to-access areas may incur additional freight charges or delays.

 

Shipping Costs

  • Calculated based on weight, size, location, and delivery access requirements.

  • Charges will be clearly provided at checkout or during the quoting process.

  • Additional charges may apply for missed deliveries, incorrect addresses, or redelivery.

 

Trailer Pickup & Delivery

  • Trailers can be collected from our Balcatta, WA facility by prior arrangement.

  • We can also organise delivery nationwide via trusted freight partners.

  • All trailers must be paid in full and licensed (if applicable) before dispatch.

 

Delivery Insurance

  • Delivery insurance is available upon request and strongly recommended for trailers and high-value items.

  • If you do not purchase delivery insurance, RedDirt Group accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft that occurs in transit.

  • Once your order has been handed to the freight carrier, all risk transfers to the customer unless insurance has been arranged.

 

Tracking & Notifications

  • You’ll receive a tracking number by email or SMS where available once your order is dispatched.

  • Some bulky freight (e.g. trailers) may not include live tracking. We’ll provide estimated delivery updates directly.

 

Delivery Conditions

  • It is your responsibility to ensure someone is present to accept and inspect the delivery at the provided address.

  • Redelivery fees apply if no one is available or access is restricted at the time of delivery.

  • Please notify us in advance of any site restrictions or special delivery requirements.

 

Damaged or Missing Items

  • All goods must be checked immediately on delivery.

  • Any damage, loss, or issues must be reported in writing within 48 hours to enquiries@reddirtgroup.com.au.

  • Claims outside this window may not be accepted, especially where delivery insurance was not taken.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We offer a 30-day return policy, starting from the date you receive your item. Please note: there is no cooling-off period for trailers.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in the same condition as received – unused, unworn, unmodified, with all tags, manuals, and original packaging intact.

  • You must provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

  • The return request must be lodged within 30 days of delivery.

Items that are damaged, altered, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted.

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at enquiries@reddirtgroup.com.au to obtain return approval.

  2. Send returns to:

    Returns sent without prior approval will be refused.

 

Damages or Incorrect Items

Inspect all items upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us immediately (within 48 hours). We will assess the claim and, if valid, arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom products (e.g., special orders, personalised items)

  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Licensed trailers

  • Sale items or gift cards

 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To swap an item, return it for a refund (if eligible) and place a new order.

 

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund approval or rejection.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Banks and credit card providers may take additional time to release the funds.
